A one woman show filled with funny and moving stories about events in the life of Susan Pfau Yeager and her career in show business. Stories about directors, costume fittings, dating, working with big names, temp jobs, etc., intertwined with wonderful songs from Sondheim, Schwartz, Jason Robert Brown, Flaherty & Ahrens, Maltby & Shire, Johnny Mercer and John Denver to name a few. The whole show will be accompanied by the truly terrific Andy Price at the piano.

Susan Pfau-Yeager has been performing professionally for over 20 years all over the world. She toured extensively in Europe as Christine in Phantom and in Canada as a soloist in Andrew Lloyd Weber: Music of the Night. Here, in the States, Susan has been seen in such shows as The Hunchback of Notre Dame (NY Workshop), A Little Night Music, Forbidden Broadway, Broadway’s Legendary Ladies, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Du Barry was a Lady(Broadway), Hot n’ Cole, and Candide to name a few. She appeared in Tiptoes as part of the Gershwin Celebration at Carnegie Hall and in Stephen Schwartz’ Children of Eden (She is featured on the cast recording). Other recordings include Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Yuletide Recording 2004 with Sandi Patty and Daniel Rodriguez as well as Stephen Sondheim’s The Frogs. Susan was noted in The New York Times for her performance in Gay Divorce at Carnegie Hall and for her “strong portrayal of Bathsheba”in The Eternal Road at Avery Fisher Hall. Since moving to Ardmore, Susan has been the director for such Ardmore Little Theatre productions as Young Frankenstein, 9 to 5 the Musical, Bye Bye Birdie, Jekyll & Hyde, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and Cinderella. She was the music director for Hairspray and Evita also at Ardmore Little Theatre. Susan co-directed Music Man, Into the Woods and Fiddler On the Roof at Dickson Summer Community Theatre. She produced, wrote, directed and performed in Noël: A Celebration of Christmas in 2007, 2011 & 2013. Susan is the founder of Noel Productions, Inc., www.noelproductions.weebly.com which will produce her one woman show, The Life that Late I Led, in June (2014) at the Goddard Center. She is the owner of Susan Pfau Yeager Studios where she currently teaches voice lessons and acting class. She earned her Bachelor of Music Degree at Arizona State University, and her Master of Music Degree and Artist’s Diploma at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Susan is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
Pianist Andy Price has been playing music in Southern Oklahoma for over 25 years. He is currently the Band Director for the Plainview Public Schools in Ardmore where he has been teaching for the past thirteen years. Andy also taught in Hugo for five years and Fox for two years. During that time, Andy was the pianist for the First United Methodist Churches in Healdton and Hugo. He is presently the pianist for the Sanctuary Choir at the First United Methodist Church in Ardmore.

Andy has played for several theatrical productions for Ardmore Little Theater, Brass Ring Studio, Ada Community Theater and East Central University-“The Wizard of Oz”, “Oliver”, “The King and I”, “Mame”, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Anything Goes”, “Chicago”, “Evita, “A Chorus Line”, “ I’ll be Damned”, “Cinderella”, “Jekyll and Hyde” and “9 to 5” and "Young Frankenstein. He also played for Noel: A Celebration of Christmas in 2007, 2011, & 2013. He will be the pianist again in the 2014 production.
